Lex discovered yoga in 2004 in search of a holistic approach to anxiety. As she continued to practice, her anxiety lessened, and she finally found her breath. Yoga encourages the present moment to linger longer. This helps Lex practice mindfulness, and maintain a healthier relationship with herself. For Lex, yoga helps her make sense of our existence and live more compassionately. She continues to show up for its continuous teachings, and for this, she is so grateful.
Lex found PLAY when she moved to North County and instantly felt at home. She completed her RYT 200 hr. Teacher Training at PLAY in 2016. Lex creates a warm and inviting space where students feel supported in reaching their own personal goals while finding a deeper connection and inner peace. She uses inspirational language mixed with tidbits of humor to encourage spontaneity and joy. In her classes, she hopes that students have fun, surprise themselves, and crack a smile. Yoga is a gift, and Lex loves sharing it with others.
When Lex is off her mat, she is a high school metalsmithing teacher and loves to hammer metal into strange objects and jewelry. She loves animals and has two rescue pitties. She is enjoying being a new mama to her beautiful baby girl, Maelys.
Lex teaches Flow and Restore and Hot Flow. Check out the schedule for upcoming classes with Lex.
