Raschel is a local San Diegan who grew up in Encinitas / Point Loma, CA. She is married with 2 boys. When not doing yoga you can find her with her family or volunteering somewhere. Raschel found yoga in the early 90’s and it was a natural fit for her. She fell in love with the practice immediately! 1997 she met Iyengar Yoga instructor, Patty Pace at the School of Healing Arts, and enrolled in an Iyengar Yoga teacher training in order to deepen her practice. In 2012 a car accident sent her to the doctor and they recommended she do more yoga to heal herself. That led her to her next 200hr Hatha Yoga teacher training with an influence in Hatha Vinyasa; knowing that in a teacher training you are required to do a lot of yoga helped her focus on healing. That is where she discovered her love of teaching yoga. In 2016 Raschel did her 300hr teacher training and attained her 500hr RYT certification from the Roots and Wings Yoga school in Vista, CA. In January 2017 she was trained in Ashtanga Primary Series with Tim Miller. Raschel is continuing to train and explore in different modalities of yoga. She loves learning about yoga and sharing her love of it with people. Yoga has changed her life and reduced her daily pain. She loves to share the healing benefits with her students. Her classes are fun, relaxing and alignment based.
