Sarah came to yoga for the first time in 2013 in NC. She was amazed by how tight her body was from years of competing in sports and collegiate Track & Field and how yoga helped her to release. Although she enjoyed her first class, it wasn’t until a few years later while working as a fitness coach in MN that she found a hot yoga studio and fell in love. Yoga was the perfect balance from her workouts and added space, healing, and softness to her life.
Sarah moved to CA in 2017 and decided to learn more about yoga by taking the 200 hour yoga teacher training at PLAY a few weeks after moving. She initially didn’t think she would teach after going through the training but quickly changed her mind after realizing that by teaching, she could help other people find space, healing, and softness in their lives as well. Sarah finished the training that Nov and has been teaching yoga ever since.
Sarah loves teaching invigorating vinyasa classes as well as classes for absolute beginners that focus more on mobility and creating space in tight bodies. She believes that one of the ultimate health goals is to move well in one’s body for all of one’s life.
When not teaching yoga, Sarah loves spending time with her son, husband, and boxer Xena. Sarah also works as a personal trainer and enjoys crafting, singing, and listening to podcasts and books.
