Happy April Yogis!
Spring time offers us the opportunity to cleanse our space and our bodies. Now is a great time to clean out your closet, your trunk, and even your thoughts and beliefs. Are your beliefs systems benefiting you …or limiting you? Examine all that fills your closet and your mind, if you don’t need it- let it go!
We have some fun events coming up, that you won’t want to miss! The March Madness Challenge is over and we’re celebrating YOU on Monday, April 2nd. Support a local cause, Habitat for Humanity, on April 15th with Shannon. Learn the Art of Adjustments with Fally Love Weiss on April 20th-22nd. Rock-Ya Chak-Ra with Lex Archibald on May 19th will give you the chance to get creative. We have several 50 hour modules coming up: Flow and Restore and Kick Ur Asana! Sign up today! Get back up on the board with SUP Yoga! with Diana and Floating Yogis this summer. Save the date for Next Generations Kids Yoga Training for 2-7 year olds on July 13th-15th.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Join Shannon for a donation based class, 75 min. yoga class to raise funds for habitat for humanity on Sunday, April 15 at 2 pm. Shannon is working as part of the National Student Nurses Association and together her team is going to build a home in El Cajon on May 16th. Their goal is to raise $1500! Support this great cause and directly makes an impact right here in San Diego.
THE ART OF ADJUSTMENTS

There is a fine line between giving a deliciously sweet adjustment that improves your students practice and taking them too far, actually disturbing their practice and sending them into tension and pain. In this workshop, you will learn the difference, as you delve into the art and science of giving good adjustments. You will be introduced to techniques and body awareness principles, and look at anatomical basics that can be used in all your adjustments. As well, we will focus on adjustments for common standing, seated, inverted and supine poses. And you will learn how to give GREAT savsana!
We will also play with the dynamics of AcroYoga & Thai Yoga Massage as complimentary prac- tices of Yoga.

Get inspired and be creative at the upcoming “Rock-ya Chak-ra” workshop with Lex Archibald. The first half of the workshop will be dedicated to creating your very own chakra healing stone necklace. You will learn beginning wire wrapping techniques and healing qualities of stones as they relate to the chakras. Stamping a meaningful word onto copper will be a personalized addition to your necklace.
Select a stone, wrap it, and wear it during the second half of the workshop. A gentle yoga flow “centered” on the seven chakras will follow. Closing with using your energy stone pendant during savasna and a brief meditation. Leave feeling more aligned, balanced, and creative. Chakras will be introduced and discussed throughout the workshop. Join us for an engaging and fun afternoon!

This joyful, playful and inspiring Next Generation Yoga Teacher Training is a 25-hour Yoga Alliance registered certification course that teaches you how to share Yoga with 8-13 yr. olds. The Next Generation Yoga Teacher Training for 8-13 yr. olds is open to anyone who has a love for older children and passion for Yoga. No pre-requisites required.
