PLAY Policies To Reopen After Covid-19

Hi Yogis and thank you for being such a great support to the studio during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are so excited to begin our process to reopen. Although, we do not have a date yet, we are hoping to open our doors to the public soon. We want to continue to offer a safe space for you to practice in. So, with the reopening we will have some new policies that our community will need to follow in order to keep our members and instructors safe.

PLAY Policies To Reopen

PLAY policies to reopen featured by Peace Love And Yoga, a hot studio in Carlsbad California.

Registration & Class Size

  • All students will need to complete our new waiver prior to their first class back in studio.
  • All classes will require pre-registration and pre-payment for in-person classes. You can easily do this from our PLAY App, or the website.
  • Class sizes will be limited to allow for 6 feet between each mat space. Please place your mat in a designated mat pace, and get settled on your mat. Please no wandering around the studio (students and teachers).
  • Because of the limited class sizes, we have a strict no show policy for in studio classes. If you do not show for class, you will be charged an additional No Show Fee of $20 (this is effective for all students).

Policies For Class Arrivals

  • Doors will be locked until 15 min before class. Prior to doors opening, (students) please wait outside with at least 6 feet distance from other students. Doors will be closed and locked promptly at the start of class, we will not be allowing students in late at this time.
  • Please wear a mask upon arrival and exiting (not required while practicing/teaching).
  • We are currently NOT renting mats, and towels. Please arrive dressed for practice and with your own mat, towel and props.
  • In between classes, the studio will be cleaned and disinfected.

Student & Teacher Health

  • If you have any of the following symptoms, please stay home (students and teachers). Cough, Shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste of smell.
  • If you feel fine, but are coughing and sneezing (allergies etc…)  we lovingly ask that you stay home and practice online until your symptoms lesson so not to draw attention in a public class.
  • We will be doing pre-class health screenings for teachers and students. Upon arrival, your temperature will be screened via contact-less thermometer, and you will have to answer health questions.

We look forward to seeing all of you around the studio!! Please be sure that you follow all of these policies to reopen when you arrive at the PLAY studio. Are you new to yoga? You can check out our New To Yoga Tips over HERE.
