Add another element to your yoga practice with Aerial Yoga PLAY! Aerial Yoga has all the benefits of a traditional practice, while letting your body be supported and suspended above ground. The sturdy, silk fabric wraps around your body to support you during challenging postures, and can add intensity in strength poses. We also use the silk hammock also as a prop to deepen stretches increasing flexibility, as well as an assist with standing balance poses. Aerial Yoga FAQs
What day, what time and who’s teaching?
To begin, classes will be Tuesdays and Thursdays in Studio 2.
Cecily will lead Aerial Yoga at 4:30.
Bob will lead Aerial Relax at 6:00.
9 Students maximum.
Can I use my current class pass?
Yes! All current PLAY passes and memberships can be used for Aerial classes.
Do I need an updated Waiver?
Yes! On your first aerial visit, you will need to sign a separate waiver at the front desk.
What do I need to bring with me?
Bring your mat, a towel and water.
What do I wear?
Comfortable yoga clothes. Shirts with sleeves (something to cover the armpits) and yoga pants that cover the backs of the knees. Please, no jewelry or anything that might catch on the silks. Also, be mindful of scents and/or oils – they may stain the fabric.
