Born and raised in the South, Lisa has called Southern California her home for the past 25 years. A photojournalist for international humanitarian organizations, Lisa loved the mental and physical benefits of yoga and the ability to practice while she traveled. Taking a break from travel and wanting to deepen her practice, Lisa entered the YTT program at PLAY, spring 2019. Upon graduating the 200 hr. YTT. she entered the Hot Flow Mentorship under the direction of Studio Owner, Jess McGimsey and Hot Flow Teacher Lexi Rubio. Lisa’s classes are heavily influenced by her love of music and how it can transform and enhance a Vinyasa flow sequence.
